Caregiver Training

Over the past 11 years we have been training and developing students to become ‘Home Based Caregivers.’ Our organisation provides students with a high standard of training. We have been developing and supporting them to thrive and positively contribute to the well-being of the elderly and frail.

We are passionate about developing competent carers and our focus has been on providing the elderly and frail with compassionate personal care and assistance, ensuring that they feel confident in the knowledge that they are in safe and capable hands. We have built a reputation as being the leading ‘caregiver training provider’ on the KZN South Coast.

We offer our students the choice of a Basic Caregivers Course and an Advanced Caregivers Course, which covers many of the diseases and illnesses affecting the elderly. Upon successfully completing the course our students are issued with a certificate.

  • Medication Administration and Reminders.
  • Pressure Care, Turning.
  • Physical Disability Care and Support.
  • Mobility, Lifting Assistance and Fall Prevention
  • Assistance with day-to-day activities, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, grooming and oral hygiene.
  • Nutrition and meal preparation.
  • Assistance with light exercise, based on their individual ability.
